To be certified by the Board of Urology, the urologist must meet specified educational requirements and examination.Urologists must graduate from a medical school approved by the SEP and complete an accredited urology residency is a minimum of 5 years. A year should be devoted to general surgery, 3 years clinical urology, and a minimum of 6 months in general surgery, urology, or a discipline relevant to the urology clinic. The last year of training should be used as a chief resident in urology with appropriate clinical responsibility under supervision.

After completing post-graduate education, surgeons may apply for certification of the Mexican National Association of Urology, once collegiate, can participate in various national and international societies of urology. Applicants approved by the Mexican National Council of urology to enter the certification process must complete a certification exam and after passing this examination, a review of subsequent recertification. When an Advisory Board certifies a physician, not for life, the medical certificate must be earned by the re-certification of the Mexican National Association of Urology every 5 years through the application and approval of the whole process again in a program of re -certification, this is done to assure patients of the doctor, the doctor is up to date on the latest techniques of surgery and treatment in their specialty.

MTF and SRS SURGERY INFO:

1. For the MTF / SRS surgery the procedure involves removing testicles and the penis. This leaves more or less SENSATION during intercourse (after 6 to 8 weeks of recovery time) this procedure leaves a round opening above the anal area maybe having enough room for the head of a penis to penetrate. This surgery will automatically start to feminize all facial and body features which you will notice a great change within 8 to 12 months after surgery especially with the post ops and special medications your doctor prescribes to you that he has found and worked with that no other doctor has in Mexico or USA wise ! 3. Same as both procedures above plus now shaping a nicely outer vagina with beautiful lips used from the excess skin removed from the inner penis area. This procedure is hard to do if patient decides months or years later to have vagina shaped outer wise because there will not be enough skin to work with by then as there would be durring first surgery session.
